Goliath The Soothsayer
Rated 4.5 / 5 stars February 12, 2008
Dear Brother...
A rather unusual yet intriguing addition to the portal, this game has great similarities to Gateway. The eerie sci-fi feel implemented makes for a thrilling experience. The tension builds up with each new discovery, giving it a sort of Resident Evil musk thrown in the mix. The puzzles, as few as there were, are so undeniably well-conceived to seem as if you've experienced them beforehand. From beginning to end, Goliath The Soothsayer is just about everything you could want out of a horror/puzzle game. Brilliance indeed.

One of a Kind
One of the most mind-boggling games out there. The concept in essence is similar to the portal game thats also here on Newgrounds. Who knew black and white could look so good. Good Job.

Cursor of Death
Very interesting game design with much to offer. Has plenty of features and modes to choose from as well. The sounds and particle effects are quite impressive. As repetitive as the gameplay may seem, it's also quite addictive. A very unique style and intuitive game mechanics that really grab the player and put them on a ride. Solid game overall.

Do a Barrel Roll!
Ahh...this is a familiar tune. Nice way to bring back memories of a great franchise. Good rhythm, clean sounds, and a good variety. Well done.
thanx gald you liked it and it blows my mind that so many others do! Keep on the look out for a remix of Titania from StarFox.

Good Old Memories
Reminds me of the times I had with the GameBoy version back in the day. Awesome stuff.

A Hero of Sorts
Overall this piece is a well received contribution to the portal. My only complaint would be the incessant, high treble tempo of the drums and such. In my opinion, you should have eased up a bit half way through so you wouldn't really "burn it out."
Other than that it really held together. Nice job.
Yeah, already noted and slapped on my own forehead. Ah well, at least that way you know it's really man made. :)
Anyways, thanks for checking it out!

Simply Epic
I love the way you use the colors at your disposal. The very vacant yet meaningful expressions on their face. You're able to convey the emotions in such subtle ways. Brillian work

Corporate Casual
The idea of incorporating the classic NES sounds into this film was more than enough to blow my socks off. It was backed up so easily by the fluent animation and colors too. Good use of perspective as well. Fabulous work.

Battle of the Ages
A truly awe-inspiring experience from the moment it starts. The humor is mostly clever and the action is top-notch to say the least. I'd say the is a much greater improvement over the first one by far. Good use of sprites with wonderful animation throughout. From beginning to end, this film is almost very thing I could ever hope to see out of a video game parody. Good job.

Animations that Thrive
It's quite obvious you had to devote much time and effort to make something like this. Wonderful animation with an overwhelmingly high framerate. Solid work.
